The City Commission approved the following Special Event Permit Request at the 7 pm Commission Meeting on November 8, 2021.
Sanford Porchfest Corporation requests to host the 5th Annual Sanford Porchfest event, from 11:30 am – 7 pm, on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Each participating porch will have several musicians play throughout the day. The event will also use Park on Park and Centennial Park for vendors, additional staging and art displays. The applicant requests closure of Oak Avenue, from 3rd Street to 9th Street, from 9th Street to 13th Street; and Myrtle Avenue, from 9th Street to 12th Street from 9:30 am – 7 pm.approved
